ABOUT ANNIE

Sbbuckley_Annie_Stickney_HRes-1Annie was raised near Padanaram Village, a small seaside town in Southeastern Massachusetts. She comes from a large family and was taught the importance of hard work. In 1977, Annie graduated from Nursing School in Boston. In 1979, she moved to Maine, where she’d summered as a child.

In 1979, Annie met and married Andy Stickney. Together they moved to Cape Elizabeth and raised a large family.

Throughout her years as a mother, partner, and nurse, Annie was constantly taking classes in painting, drawing, sewing, color theory, interior design, garden and landscape design, and even welding. Annie is also a registered nurse. Because of Annie’s 35 year career in the medical field, she is particularly facile at helping people transition through the healthcare continuum.

In early 2012, Linda Banks of Banks Design and Simply Home, offered Annie a full time position as an interior designer. This is where she honed her design skills, and widened exposure to even more lines of furnishings, fabrics, lighting, and finishes. With gratitude to all that Linda taught her, Annie re-launched her Annie Stickney Design, LLC in October of 2014.
